Tucked inside a mini-mall that's in need of an overhaul. This "no reservation" hole in the wall restaurant dishes out some mighty fine omelets, pancakes and waffles! The waitresses all dress as if they took fashion lessons from Cindi Lauper. Lots of very good egg dishes, but good lunch menu also abounds. Lots of old Orange County memorabilia abounds on the wooden walls. The homemade apple butter is really terrific on the english muffins.

Sometimes, this place has a dicey reputation, but all the same, it somehow remains a must try spot for vacationers. a landmark home that has watched the ever-changing Laguna surf for more than a half century and serving as a restaurant for 35 years. The tall Monkey Puzzle Star Pine tree still shades the old-fashioned garden, which retains the casual pace of Laguna's earlier years. The building, characterized by its sweeping oriental roof lines, was constructed to "city standards" in 1917, when the majority of Laguna Beach was "board and batten" beach cottages.

Only open during this To The Trade areas hours of operation, but it's staff and food is a favorite, not only with the designers and their clients, but with anyone who wants to do a more relaxed version of "the ladies who lunch", plus I've never had anything but absolutely delicious food. They have daily specials and scones of the morning. Maple bacon aroma is too die for! Coffee is quite good.
